Dr. John D'Amanda, DC, NMD, ACP, FAAO (Dee Amanda) is the Clinical Director at Red Hawk Healthcare. He is an innovative visionary with a long history in the healing arts. He has extensive medical and alternative medical training in Emergency Medicine, Cardiopulmonary Medicine and Neonatal and Adult Critical Care, Neonatal and Pediatric Transport (Rotor and Fixed Wing), Naturopathic Medicine, and Chiropractic Medicine.Dr. D'Amanda is board certified as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) and licensed as a Tribal Physician/Provider with the Turtle Healing Band of the Five Feathers Healthcare System associated with the Western Shoshone Paiute Nation (WIC), the Eastern Cherokee, and the Hoopa Valley Tribes.
In 2016, Dr. D'Amanda was awarded The Presidents Call to Service Award by President Obama for his humanitarian work and his contribution to healthcare. The Presidents Call to Service Award is the highest honor awarded for volunteer service. It recognizes the best in American spirit and encourages all Americans to improve their communities through volunteer service and civic participation.
Dr. D'Amanda has additional training and certifications in Functional Medicine, Restorative Medicine, IV Nutrition, Injectable Vitamins, Platelet Rich Plasma/Stem Cell Therapy, Ozone Therapy, Advanced Prolozone Therapy, T3 Therapy, Wilson's Temperature Syndrome, Hypnotherapy, Myofascial Release, Acupuncture, BioEnergetic Synchronization Technique (Elite Master Level in Humans and Animals), Flowtrition Level 1-4, and Energy/Frequency Medicine.
Dr. D'Amanda is a member in good standing with the National Congress of American Indians, Native American Chamber of Commerce, Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine , American Academy of Ozonetherapy (FAAO-Fellow status) , and Institute for Functional Medicine.
Dr. D'Amanda has been married since 1990. He is a true animal lover and an animal advocate. He has Texas Longhorn cattle, horses, dogs and cats.
Dr. D'Amanda comes from a long line of leaders, hero's, and those who have given to the service of others. He has great-grandfathers who fought in both the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. A 7th great-grandmother, Betsey Phifer Blackwelder, who is a heroine of the Revolutionary War for her service in the voluntary care of soldiers on both sides infected with smallpox. He is the 8th great-grandson of the Tuscarora Chief Nicholas Casiah and 25th great-grandson of King John "Lackland" Plantagenet of England.
Dr. D was Knighted as a Hospitalar Knight with the Knights of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem in 2014 and with the Sacred Medical Order of the Knights of Hope in 2012. He is a member of The Royal Society of St. George and the Plantagenet Descendants Society of the UK.
